Copper Thieves in Boundary Park

"Last night a couple of men wearing hoodies were seen stealing the brass letters and numbers off the signage at the entrance to Lakewood Gardens. Apparently the RCMP were called to the scene but the thieves made off on bicycles and got away.   The file number for that incident is  2013 – 81137

This morning I noticed that the signage at the Boundary Drive West entrance to Lakewood Heights has also been compromised. With the exception of 3 letters all the rest of  “Lakewood Heights” signage is missing.  So it appears that the thieves made off with the brass letters from our signage.  Our  file number is:  2013 – 95481."

 

PS.  It was also reported that the brass pad lock to the garbage recyle bin at the main entrance to Boundary Park (Gate 0) had been stolen.
