WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Having viewed the damage and destruction that Hurricane Sandy wrought on New York, New Jersey and Ontario one is left wondering what we would do in Metro Vancouver

if such an event should befall us.

How would you cope with no electricity, natural gas, gasoline, mobile or land line telephones?

How would you contact your husband, wife, children, parents and friends? Where would you meet if a catastrophe occurred?

Where would you live if your home or neighbourhood was destroyed or declared unsafe by local authorities?

What would you do if first responders (fire, police and paramedics) were overwhelmed and were not available to assist you?

The residents of New York, New Jersey and Ontario had one week to prepare for the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy. The residents of Metro Vancouver will not have one week to prepare for the damage and destruction that will take place when a predicted massive earthquake occurs.

So it all comes down to truthfully answering the question - WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
