Much has been written about women earning less than men for comparable work. While the gap in compensation between men and women is narrowing for non executive positions, high paying executive jobs in corporations and on boards of directors for women remain scarce.
New research into why women are not as successful in achieving top positions has discovered that men are better at networking than women which increases a man's odds of reaching the top positions in corporations and being selected to sit on corporate boards.
The outcome of this research will no doubt create a plethora of educational programs and courses instructing women how to improve their business networking skills.
